These little porcelain seal fobs are really gorgeous and beautiful items to display in an early dolls house.
Made by the St James of London factory around 1750, this factory later became Chelsea Porcelain.
These seal fobs were made to hang on a pocket watch chain. The seal was inset in the base.
The examples I have have all at some point lost their seals and gold loops , which makes them actually appear more like miniature 18thC figurines.
This sweet little cherub or putti is 2.5 cm tall.
Some tiny nibbles and a tiny touch up of gilding to base, otherwise good condition.
