Quantity:
I adore these rare early porcelain figures.
Made by Charles Guoyn of the St James of London factory around 1750.
This factory was known for these fine quality porcelain miniatures and ran from 1749-1759. It the became the now famous Chelsea porcelain factory.
This figure was originally made as a fob seal and attached to a watch chain.
It has over the years lost its metal ring and metal band which would have held the seal in place.
This lovely lady is in good condition for her very great age, apart from a couple of tiny nibbles around the base I can find no damage.
These little figures are wonderful displayed in early dolls houses.
Measures 3 cm tall.
