This is a beautiful early piece. Dating from the 18thC.
This exquisite embroidery was worked by Nuns, it is double sided, both sides identical showing incredible skill. The silk is worked on paper which is then pierced to allow light to shine through pinholes.
Housed in double sided glass with gilded paper edge.
Measures 4.5 by 3 inches
