A wonderful and rare early 18thC straw work box with mirrored and eglomise interior.
The box contains a selection of Early French gaming counters.
These counters were used in the game a reverse, popular in France during the early 18thC.
They are beautifully carved with different French mottos.
The box is 2.75 inches by 2 inches.
