A lovely and rare 18thC quited silk cap in tiny size , certainly made for a doll.

Made from a beautiful red silk , which is quilted with silk thread and decorated with silk rosettes and ruched silk ribbon, edged with gold metallic lace.

Lined with a heavy cotton which makes the cap stiff.

I have shown this on my 17 inch tall english wooden and it fits her perfectly.
