A very rare pair of late 18thC miniature leather shoes.

I would imagine these were made for a wooden doll of the period, alternatively they could just be miniature versions of the full size examples.

The shoes are well made with tooled leather heels and soles nailed on with dozens of tiny early nails.

They measure 3 inches long.

They do show a fair amount of wear as one would expect but still display .
