This is such a wonderful and rare early toy.
Dating from the 18thC .
This is a marriage couple laid in bed.
These wonderful early wax faces with their early white wigs are attached to strings beneath, which when pulled make the heads lift up as if they are sitting up to talk to each other.
They are housed in a fabulous early straw work box.
The box measures just 3 inches long.
A very rare and charming survivor.
