A most beautiful late 18thC satin baby cape with hand embroidered flower sprigs and edged blue satin with decorative goffering.
This beautiful cape was the inspiration for the christening cape in the previous owners novel. The novel inscribed by the author will be included in this sale.
The cape measure 35 inches long.
There are age marks and areas of discolouration but overall condition is good.
A very lovely item.
