What can I say about this absolutely exquisite pair of dolls with their incredible collection of early bonnets.
These Devine little grodnertals date from the early part of the 19thC .
They each measure 3.75 inches tall and are in superb condition, all limbs full jointed and in good order. They both have the most beautiful faces with large tuck combs, I would guess they were painted by the same hand and have certainly always been together.
They both wear their original pink silk dress which are gorgeous.
They come with a regency wooden trunk full of the most exquisite tiny poke bonnets all early19thC and just to die for!!, they come with 4 turned ivory hat stands with gold painted decoration.
The trunk carries several golden Ms , possibly the initials of these 2 dolls, or their original owners.
